1980Who We Are
Knitting fabric in Istanbul since 1980
RT Tekstil is an Istanbul-based manufacturer specialised in circular-knit fabric. With an integrated structure that runs knitting, dyeing and finishing under one roof, we produce single jersey, rib, two/three-thread, pique and technical fabrics.
We export regularly to more than 40 countries and produce exactly the fabric our customers request — in the weight, width and colour they specify. Our job is not to choose the fabric for you, but to manufacture the fabric you define, in full and on time.
Our Knitted Fabric Types
Production for every need with our wide machine park
Single Jersey Fabric
The base knit behind almost every t-shirt. Made on a single-plate circular knitting machine, single jersey is light, breathable and fluid — single-faced, with a clean V-stitch front and a looped reverse. We supply it from 120 to 220 g/m², in 100% cotton, cotton/elastane and polyester. At RT Tekstil we knit, dye and finish it under one roof — so whatever GSM and shade you target, that is exactly what we knit to.

Two-Thread Fleece Fabric
The spring-and-summer sweatshirt base. Two-thread fleece is a loop-back sweat knit with a smooth, flat, unbrushed inner face — mid-weight at 220–280 g/m², soft against the skin and clean to print on. At RT Tekstil we knit, dye and finish it under one roof, in cotton or cotton/polyester, so we can hit your exact weight and color target without an outside step.

Three-Thread Fleece Fabric
The fabric that carries a hoodie through winter. Three-thread fleece knits three separate yarns and then brushes the inner face into a warm, lofted nap — 280–380 g/m², from pure cotton to cotton/polyester/elastane blends. At RT Tekstil we knit, dye, brush and finish it under one roof, so whether you are building a heavy crew sweat or a full tracksuit, we raise the loft to the warmth you are targeting.

Rib Knit Fabric
The stretch-and-recovery partner to jersey and fleece. Knitted by alternating front and back needles, rib forms vertical wales (ribs) with the same V-face on both sides — it is reversible. That structure delivers high crosswise stretch and a strong snap-back, which is why it is the standard for collars, cuffs and waistbands; in finer weights the very same fabric becomes a full garment for bodysuits, rib tops and dresses. At RT Tekstil we knit, dye and finish under one roof, so a rib trim leaves the same dye bath, in the same shade, as the body fabric it belongs to.

Piqué (Lacoste) Fabric
The textured knit behind the classic polo shirt. Piqué carries a raised honeycomb / waffle surface that makes it breathable, dimensionally stable and crisp to handle — quite unlike a flat jersey tee. We supply it from 180 to 240 g/m², in 100% cotton and cotton/polyester blends. At RT Tekstil we knit, dye and finish it under one roof, so the GSM, yarn and shade you target are exactly what comes off the line — including the matching collars and cuffs.

Crinkle (Crepe) Fabric
A textured summer knit with a permanently set crinkle. Lightweight at 120–180 g/m², crinkle (crepe) fabric reads as relaxed, low-iron and softly flowing — the puckered surface hides creases instead of showing them. We knit it in viscose and polyester blends and dye it in our own dyehouse, so the texture, the hand and the shade all land where your summer range needs them.

Interlock (Kaşkorse) Fabric
A dense, double-knit fabric with a smooth, almost velvet-like surface — what the mill calls kaşkorse and what English-speaking buyers search for as interlock. Knitted on twin needle beds, both faces look the same: flat, fine and clean, with no visible reverse. We supply it from 200 to 300 g/m² in cotton and cotton/polyester. At RT Tekstil we knit, dye and finish it under one roof — so the weight, hand and shade you target are exactly what comes off the line.

Collar & Cuff Trims
The finished pieces that complete a garment at the neck, wrist and waist. Unlike yardage, trims are knitted ready-made and spec'd by dimension, not by the metre: flat-knit polo collars (plain, tipped or striped), 1×1 and 2×2 rib cuffs and waistbands, neckbands and bindings. Because RT Tekstil knits, dyes and finishes under one roof, your collar and cuff leave the same dye bath, in the same approved shade, as the body fabric they belong to — so collar, cuff and body read as one piece, not three.

Scuba Fabric
A double-knit built to hold its shape. Scuba is a fine, dense double-knit with a smooth, almost matte face and a slightly spongy, structured hand — the look that took its name from neoprene wetsuits, but lighter and with no foam core. It stands up to clean lines, sharp seams and sculptural cuts, which is why it became the go-to for structured dresses, skirts and unlined jackets. We knit, dye and finish it under one roof in 250–350 g/m², polyester/spandex, so the body and shade you target are the ones we build to.

Cotton Scuba Fabric
A scuba knit that breathes. Cotton scuba keeps the dense, springy double-knit structure that makes scuba hold a clean silhouette, but it is built on a cotton-rich blend with elastane instead of all polyester — so it feels soft next to the skin and lets heat and moisture move. At 250–320 g/m² it gives dresses, structured tops and light outerwear body without the clamminess of synthetic scuba. We knit, dye and finish it under one roof, so your weight and shade come back exactly as specified.

Polyester Scuba Fabric
Polyester scuba is a 100% polyester double-knit built for one job: holding a sharp, vivid sublimation print. The face is dense, smooth and very even — a clean canvas where ink dye turns into color with no texture noise. At 220–300 g/m² it stays structured and durable, which is why it carries printed activewear, leggings and all-over-print dresses. We knit, dye and finish it under one roof, so the white base you print on is consistent roll to roll.

Doubleface Fabric
A heavy, richly draping knit built from two separate usable faces bound into one cloth — what outerwear designers buy as doubleface, double-face or reversible double cloth. The two faces can carry a different color or texture, so a coat can be finished with no lining and a clean bound edge. We supply it from 280 to 400 g/m² in cotton/polyester blends. At RT Tekstil we knit, dye and finish it under one roof — so the weight, drape and shade you target on both faces are exactly what comes off the line.
