Request a Fabric Sample Before You Order
Request a fabric sample before ordering: lab-dips, GSM and compositions to your spec, with integrated production and OEKO-TEX quality. Fast response for buyers.

To request a fabric sample is the smartest first move any buyer can make, because a hanger in your hand tells you more in ten seconds than a spec sheet does in ten minutes. Weight, hand, drape and shade all become real the moment you feel the cloth, and sample approval is the point where those details are locked before any tonnage is committed. We prepare samples and lab-dips for buyers in 40+ countries, and this page explains exactly what to send us and what you will receive back.
What you receive when you request a sample
A proper sample is more than a scrap of cloth. It is the evidence your technical and buying teams use to sign off on a fabric before production. When you request a sample from us, you receive physical hangers of the chosen construction and a lab-dip of your requested shade, prepared in our Tekirdağ colour laboratory against your own standard. Together they let you judge the fabric honestly, in your own light and against your own garment.
What a complete sample kit contains
- Physical hangers of the chosen knit construction and weight
- A lab-dip matched to your colour standard or reference
- The composition and g/m² clearly stated for your records
- A basis for the container-scale quote that follows approval
That kit is what turns a conversation into a decision. Because we knit, dye and finish under one roof, the sample you approve is made the same way the bulk will be, so there is no gap between what you sign off and what arrives. To see how a sample fits into the wider ordering journey, our guide to importing knit fabric from Turkey sets out every step from enquiry to delivery.
How to brief us so the sample is right first time
The quality of a sample depends on the quality of the brief. The more precisely you describe what you are building, the faster we send the correct hanger and lab-dip, which shortens the path to a quote and to bulk. A vague request means guesswork; a clear one means the right cloth arrives first time.
| Tell us | Example | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Garment | Crew-neck t-shirt, polo, hoodie | Guides the construction and weight band |
| Fabric | Single jersey, piqué, 2-thread fleece | Sets the base knit we sample |
| Target weight | 160–180 g/m² | Decides hand, opacity and cost |
| Composition | 100% cotton, cotton-elastane | Matches stretch and print method |
| Colour standard | Pantone reference or a swatch | Basis for the lab-dip we prepare |
If you are still deciding on weight or blend, our single jersey fabric guide explains how GSM and composition change a garment, and for winter programmes our sweatshirt and fleece fabric page covers the two- and three-thread constructions. Sending a considered brief with your sample request is the single best way to speed things along.
From sample to container order
A sample is the step before a quote, not a dead end. Once your team approves the hanger and lab-dip, that approved lab-dip becomes the standard we match batch to batch, with a target of zero visible colour deviation across the run and on later repeats. From there we quote at container scale, typically 10 to 100 tons per colour and construction, drawing on 8,000 tons of annual capacity and 40+ years of export experience.
If you would rather test before scaling, a smaller trial lot is possible after approval, so you can run the fabric through your own production before committing to full tonnage. When you are ready, finished and inspected rolls leave our production in Turkey and ship on your preferred incoterm, delivered to your port or to your door. Frequently asked questions
What is included in a fabric sample?
A sample typically includes physical hangers of the chosen construction and a lab-dip of your requested shade, so your team can assess weight, composition, hand and colour in person. Lab-dips are prepared in our Tekirdağ colour laboratory against your standard.
What information should I give when requesting a sample?
Tell us the garment you are building, the fabric, your target weight in g/m², the composition and your colour standard. The more precise the brief, the faster we send the right sample the first time, which shortens the path to a quote and bulk order.
Do samples lead to a container order directly?
Sample approval is the step before a quote. Once your team approves the hanger and lab-dip, we quote at container scale, typically 10 to 100 tons per colour and construction, and a smaller trial lot is possible before you commit to full tonnage.
Can you match a specific Pantone or existing swatch?
Yes. Send a colour reference or a physical swatch and we prepare a lab-dip against it in our colour laboratory. Your approved lab-dip becomes the standard we match batch to batch, with a target of zero visible colour deviation on the run and repeats.
Which fabrics can I request a sample of?
We sample the full weft-knit family: single jersey, two- and three-thread fleece, rib, piqué, interlock, scuba and double-face, in cotton, cotton-elastane, cotton-poly and polyester builds from roughly 120 to 400 g/m² depending on the construction.
